I'm not sure how many are aware, but I did have a few questions if the gaming app was causing problems for anyone. If you haven't DLed this version, eventually you will have to as EA has specified moving towards this version. I hope this helps anyone that's been having any trouble!!

Well when I try to run Sims 4 through the EA app I've been getting a strange error saying that the game can't run with this video setting? I have to repair the game every time before I can run it lately is anyone else getting this?

Just got bumped into the App yesterday. No problems with the Sims but the APP itself is a bit buggy, crashed every time I tried to change options and I need to go into task manger to shut down the app. I'm hoping that like Origin it will be possible to stay offline and not update cause I was planning on not updating with the next patch as its gonna break a lot of mods and I have little interest in infants, but I'm not sure if that will be an option with the App.

Just in case, you might want to take your mods folder out before updating should you decide to. That way, they're still in tact. Or if it's a manageable file, make yourself a backup copy of the folder. That's what I usually do, just in case, ya know? ^^
