And say Hallo to the rarest E39 Touring, if not the rarest BMW Touring - Alpina B10 V8S, Touring 1 of 43 made! 4.8L of M62 V8 glory created by Alpina.

I totally agree, I absolutely didn't need yet another project to add to the big pile, but I have a couple of reasons why I made an exception.

1. This adventure is a dry run for something big that I'm planning next year, something that hasn't been done on YT before.
The B10 is in the middle of Finland, near the town of Suonenjoki. It's been off the road since 2016 so I sent a box with parts beforehand, going to service it and drive it back to the Dojo 2500 km across 6 countries!

2. The rarity and price. If you go online, you'll hardly find a few of V8S for sale, none of which are Touring and are listed with a hefty price tag. The price was so good, it would be dumb to pass it up. I do realize that sounds like something a hoarder would say, haha.

A subscriber from a Finish BMW forum told the seller to email me and offer me the car which is how I bought it. It's originally a German car that was imported to Finland back in 2012/13 and It has over 306k km. Has some issues, but runs and drives. 

Orion, video editor from Latvia, is accompanying me and will do the filming. A local mechanic is kindly allowing us to use his shop to work on the car for a day or two, and the seller, Markus, put us in his Airbnb. Going to be a proper adventure!
