Boys, I've been dreaming and waiting on this one since 2007! My dream car! The beautiful E92 M3!

I was low-key searching for one for years, but they were always way out of my price range. Welp, last night while casually browsing this 2011 LCI Silverstone II metallic over Fox red interior popped up just 15 minutes away from me!

I hightailed today at 18h over there after the seller finished work to see it and to my surprise (not), it's a turd of the highest caliber! So naturally, I bought it.

It was listed for 22.5k European shillings and after some astute negotiating, we ended up at 18k.
And now you're thinking, Sreten, that's way too cheap for E92 M3. You are right, it is.

It comes with a twist. The engine... it's a bit locked. And by bit, I mean locked harder than an inmate. Yesss, we got ourselves a full engine rebuild coming up on one of the most legendary and glorious M engines of all time, the S65 V8.

I know some of you think I'm mad, and rightly so, but I'm having trouble containing my excitement, haha. Guess that's why I'm typing this just few hours after I bought it and it's 1 am.

It has around 231k km (144k miles), it was imported from the US in 2020, it had a rebuilt title due to some undercarriage damage which didn't look too bad (I found pictures). It was owned here by some Spanish guy and sold to me by some Moroccan guy which makes perfect sense. You know, stuff that would have normal buyers running for the hills, but not this fool.

And yes, it has factory wood trim and it's magnificent! Pretty much what sealed the deal for me, lol.

Anywho, I'll leave the rest for the video. I only have the first two pics that I took, the rest are crappy ones from the seller. I think I'll collect it at the beginning of next week and then I'll make a video on it. Right now, I'm putting in a lot of hours on the Alpina so there will be a video on that too soonish!

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your gracious support, for being with me on this incredible ride and for helping me to get to this moment. My dream car!
It sure is seriously broken but I honestly wouldn't have it any other way: fix it, touch everything on it and make it my own is the way I want it.

Cheers!

Glad to see something new in the plan. We need something new to relive is from the Alpina which has felt like a never ending saga

Please consider getting rid of the nav unit double hump. Even more important than fixing the engine!
