Got all sorts of updates coming your way!

First of all, Luis picked up his new E39 528i Touring Individual. He came with his girlfriend and drove it home. Lovely young fella, he's super excited about the car which was great to see and he has plans to fix it up. He already washed it and detailed the interior.  Makes me really happy that it went to a good home where it will be put to use and continue to live on. I'll try to occasionally post some updates and his progress with the car. Thank you to Timo again and to the whole community here for taking your time to vote!

Now the question that I get asked every day. Project Chicago, Alpina B7.
Nenad did his thing and the engine is finished! The block is now sleeved, both heads redone and crank polished. Everything has been packed and it's sitting with my friend in Belgrade for over a week now, but I'm having slight difficulties finding someone to bring all of this stuff back.
Since Serbia is outside EU, crossing the border is tricky. Obviously this stuff is valuable and if you declare it, well the tax ain't gonna be cheap and not everyone wants to deal with this.
Anyway, I found someone today and he's driving to Germany on Saturday so hopefully the engine will be back in the dojo by this Sunday!
Btw, Nenad found 6 bent valves, this thing needed a rebuild badly, but I'm still impressed it worked sorta okay and had good compression with bent valves.

I'm currently working on project Karlsruhe, E32 750iL for about 2 weeks now and that will be the next video. We are doing top end refresh: valve stem seals, intake manifold gaskets, valley pan gasket, cooling system... and just cleaning everything along the way. It's a ton of work.
The aqua blast cabinet was properly put to use here. I can't stop looking at the intake manifolds. They look so freaking good! Tomorrow I'm putting them back and shortly after it'll be ready for a first start.

I bought a crashed E39 M5. Wasn't looking for it, but a lovely subscriber emailed me and it was one of those too good to pass up deals. He is thankfully okay and walked away from this. The car not so much, it took a pretty good hit while spinning on the highway and has major structural damage. The engine and transmission are intact which is the main reason I bought it. I'd love to do E39 M5 Touring build one day and this a perfect donor for that. That being said, that won't happen soon, maybe in 2-3 years... We need to finish other projects first and project Skovde, E39 M5 so it wouldn't make sense to have repetitive content. For now, it's stored with my friend so it doesn't take up space in my shop.

Next Thursday, I'm flying to Tarragona, Spain. A nice subscriber, Fernando, reached out a while back and there's a sorta abandoned BMW dealership there with some proper classic BMWs. The dealership was closed several years ago, but the owner is a car guy and collected all sorts of cars over the years. He's an older gentleman that's retired now and Fernando is in charge of reviving these cars, cleaning them up and selling them. He seems very nice and is a fan of the channel so he invited me to see this. He's selling some of them in as is condition so I might end up buying something.

This is like walking into paradise for me. There are 15 or so cars, 40-50 engines, bikes, and ton of new, unboxed parts. To name a few E39 M5, E31 850i, E30 325i Cabrio with 24k km, E30 324d with factory M-Tech, E30 318is, E23 735i, E32 750iL, E21, E34.... and so on.

The one that I'm interested the most is the original M sedan, the one that started it all - E28 M5. Sadly, it's been crashed pretty badly as you can see on pictures and it's been sitting there for at least 22 years! They made only 2.241 examples of E28 M5 so they are pretty rare and prices are ridiculous nowadays. I don't know what the price is yet cause the owner first said some ludicrous number, and I mean absurd number: 40k!
They go in mint condition for that money, but anyway Fernando said he'll talk to him and if he comes up with some reasonable number, I'll buy it to revive it on the channel and take it from there.

Another car that's sorta interesting to me is the very old BMW E3 aka the New Six. It's, I believe, 1975 E3 2.8L with a manual gearbox. Weirdly enough, the trunk lid says 2.8L but the VIN tag 3.0L, and then when you decode the VIN you get 2.8L automatic. So not sure, but nonetheless cool old car that shares a lot of stuff with E9 coupe. No idea what the plan would be with it, but I think it would be interesting to bring it back to life.

All in all, I think this will make for a very fun video. Exploring old buildings filled with abandoned old BMWs is something I always dreamed of. My girlfriend is coming with me too so we'll stay for the weekend and explore Tarragona as well.

Finally, the last picture is a teaser of the new daily driver project! It's so neglected, broken and lovely! Can you guess the color?

Cheers and thank you for kindly supporting me on here and making all of this possible!
