Just wanted to express my gratitude again to all of you for being here and tell you that the last month's Patreon check went towards buying rod bearings and rod bolts for project Raleigh, the E60 M5. So when you watch the video, know that you took part in it big time!

Everything is stupid expensive for this car and I need to get a bunch more parts before I can crack it open and dive in feet first. I'm getting overwhelmed with questions for part 2 and it'll still be a while as I need to sell project Dubai first before I can fully finance this project and also have room to work on it in peace.

Thank you again and part 6 of project Cologne is coming a bit later!

Ah well, it’s not a S85 without a rod bearing change ahaha. Happy to see any kind of progress to get that car to its former glory!

Cool! Your content is some of the best out there, so no rush.

Great work on project Dubai and Cologne! Really looking forward to Raleigh. Looks like the videoes are getting more views and more subscribers. Maybe plug the patreon account in the videoes. would probably lead to better finances?

Hopefully you will be able to reach a point where you can do this content as a full time job. One thing you may want to try is to strike some sort of publicity deal with parts shops like autodoc. You keep the liberty of buying the brand parts you prefer and recommend and depending on the deal get those parts free and maybe some extra cash. It really all depends on how valuable they think you are for them.

Thanks, Martin! I'll likely do that at one point, just don't want it to feel pushy, but hopefully more people will be willing to join.

Thanks, Pedro! To have a parts supplier would help me greatly with expenses. Ugh, Autodoc is pretty crappy and I don't use them, they are just overblown cause they spend a lot on marketing. There are many other stores with better service and better prices. I'm currently in negotiations with Daparto.de. I've been using them for years to shop for parts as they scan all parts stores in Germany and give you the best prices, never had an issue so I'd be excited to have them on board.

I don't get it, did you not read this post in full? I explained it there, in a few other videos and at the end of part 1. I'm just tired of explaining at this point. It won't be the next video nor will it be soon.
