March Progress Report + Whats To Come (Patreon)

Hey everyone, i hope you're all doing well at the start of this month. I hope you all like the new stuff thats been added in the most recent update, following on from that and the small feature poll i really want to improve some things that are already in the game. Mainly to do with how characters are drawn as i think it would be quite nice to get some of the older ones updated to a new a better look. I will keep adding new stuff as well so don't worry about that but i think it would be nice to keep improving on how the game looks and feels. I'll try and explain each part of things i want to do just below :)

Improving On Characters Already In The Game

So if you haven't already seen i have updated Kim's head for one of the scenes in the latest update, this was mainly done as a test to see if people like the new look more as i didn't want to add it to every scene without first checking it with all of you. If you do like it thats great and i will update it in all the scenes.

Following on from Kim i would like to update some more of the characters. The one that was suggested a lot was Ahsoka so i got a quick sketch done for what she could look like. I think this one is a lot better look and if you all like it i should be able to get it updated for the Mid month update.

This will just be the start though as after bringing up the idea of updating some of the characters there were quite a few suggestions for ones that could be update. The ones i have in mind at the moment are

- Jinx

- Power

- DVa

- Harley Q

- Raven

If you have any more that you think should get updated please let me know and i can probably get a sketch done for them.

Charlie M And Carrot

For the F*rry poll i gave it a bit of extra time as it was very close between Queen B And Carrot, but after another week Carrot pulled ahead by quite al lot especially with the weighted votes. The plan is to get her added for the Mid month update with probably the first 10 scenes just like i have done with Charlie in this update. For Charlie i will keep adding to her scenes as well hopefully getting her added to all the scenes she isn't in at the moment. Another note for Charlie let me know what you think of her Skin tone now its fully in the game, the most asked for one was V5 in the last WIP post but if you have changed your mind let me know and i can get it changed.

Some updates i would also like to make to Charlie. Basically her blinking animation will need to be a bit different, i made some updates to the blinking code in preparation for this but want to make sure thats all ok before adding some more eyes for here. This is mainly because her eyes are so big it looks too quick when she blinks. I would also like to change how her close eyes look a bit to get them to fit better on her face and maybe look a bit more like how they do in the show.

Scene Poll This Month

So this month is going to have 1 Scene Poll And 1 Character Poll, firstly with the scene poll. For this one i didn't want to add any more options than ones that have been in the previous one but didn't win as i feel it would be a bit unfair to add more new ones when these ones have been in for a while. The plan is to have this one as basically a "runners up" from the previous polls and then the next scene poll will have some new ones you haven't seen before.

Character Poll This Month

This month i also wanted to see if i can get a character poll in as well but something a little bit different. I liked how the last months two were received where the polls were in categories instead of lots of different kinds of characters.

For this month i think it would be a nice idea to do some Western characters. Some ideas for character i have at the moment are

- Francine Smith

- Beth Smith

- Leela

- Lois Griffin

- Lana Kane

- Maddie Fenton

But please let me know if you have any other suggestions or if you think there is a better category of character i could do for the poll :D

More Audio System Updating

So this update had quite a big fix added to the audio code which should make it a bit more random and sound like your listening to different audio each time. This only goes so far at the moment for most character but the plan is to keep adding different kind of audio, like i did this update with Mercy Etc, to all the characters. This will give even more of a range of tracks to pick from with each character having around 10 tracks that will be around 15 seconds long.

Once i have this for every character i can some new code in that will let you customise what kind of audio you hear and also have it change depending on things like Speed Etc.

New Blinking Code

Some other stuff i wanted to say about the blinking code. When i get it all working nicely, hopefully Mid month update i will probably add to the small feature poll and option to allow you to change how often they blink, if they have their eyes open or closed and any other things you can think of that involve the eyes.

Adding Outfits And Characters To Scenes

Just like i normally do i will be adding more outfits to the characters and scenes depending on what wins the outfit poll in a week and i will also be adding characters to scenes they aren't in to try and get them filled up. I think the ones i will focus on will be the D*epthroat V2 and the Hole 3 scene as they ned to catch up a bit to the rest, but let me know if you'd rather i focus on some other scenes.

Performance And Updating To A New Unity Version

So this update i have updated to a newer version of Unity, this is quite a big thing to help with performance but can also come with some bugs and errors. Please let me know if you run into any problems with anything and i'll try and get them fixed ASAP.

I will also be improving some of the scenes like it did the the CAM scenes as they seem to have been fixed now with sending you to the wrong character or scene so its's time to start updating some of the other ones to help with performance and file size.

I think thats everything i had to say, i always feel like i missed something out XD but if i remember i'll add it in. But the main thing is i will keep adding as much stuff as i can to try and improve and add to the game and i am very thankful for all your support.

One small thing is i will add some more Still Images as well just like i normally do and you can now also view them from your computer in game as well as the second page on your phone :D
