Hey Everyone, I hope you’re all doing well. Got a lot of things to go through this update that will need testing, especially for android users as it was a bit more complex implementing some of the things there. I also had some big bugs to fix regarding quests not being able to be completed so if you have had problems with them and didn’t do the work around please let me know if there are still problems with them. Anyway I’ll get right to it and then leave you to play.

Scroll Wheel Selector

So this is the feature I have been looking forward to implement for the longest time now and I have finally managed that this update. I have explained a bit in the previous posts how it will work but I’ll quickly explain again for each device.

Note - You will need to toggle this on in the Customise Pause Menu.

Left/Right will change characters
Up/Down will change scene
Pressing any arrow will turn on the wheel
Not pressing anything after the wheel has turned on will turn it off after 5 seconds
After switching to a character/scene you can either wait 2 seconds or press enter to go into that scene
The wheel will loop back round seamlessly
Pressing and holding one of the arrow keys will quickly scroll through

Android

Swipe Left/Right will change characters
Swipe Up/Down will change scene
Swiping will turn on the wheel
Not pressing anything after the wheel has turned on will turn it off after 5 seconds
After switching to a character/scene you can either wait 2 seconds or press enter to go into that scene
The wheel will loop back round seamlessly
Swiping and holding will quickly scroll through

If you ever forget how to use it in the customise pause menu you will be able to click to the right of the toggle to view the controls for your specific device. I have also added a little tutorial window that should show up when you view the D*ggy scene just incase anyone doesn’t read this and doesn’t know about the new feature and how to turn it on. I was also thinking now that there are a lot of options in the Customise Pause Menu I might have a go a redesigning it to group everything together and make it easier to find what you’d like to turn off and on.

Now that how it works is out of the way I’ll quickly go through some problems you might encounter. Firstly the Scroll Wheel should only show you characters or scenes that are actually available for that particular character, for example if you are in one of Mirko’s scenes and go to scroll through the scene wheel, the icon for the F*otjob scene should not show up as she hasn’t been added to that scene yet.

Secondly along the same lines if you have your favourite characters toggled, this means that when you view the all scenes menu or character switcher on the left in a scene it shows just your favourites, then when you bring up the character wheel it should also only show your favourited characters.

Finally for Android users you might need to do a bit more testing as for PC it was very easy to add you just press one of the arrows and it brings up the corresponding scroll wheel, however for android I had to do a lot more code to get it to work. The main problems I faced was if you are scrolling through the options on the right, sliding the speed slider or interacting with parts of the body this will also bring up the scroll wheel as it thinks there’s a swipe happening, to fix this I have added some objects for it to ignore if they are touched however this then leads to and overlap where it has to choose between running one thing or the other, for example in the scenes where you can interact with the body it will choose to do that instead of bringing up the scroll wheel, this means you may need to swipe in places that don’t have anything for you to interact with in order to get the scroll wheel to come up. I don’t think this will be too much of a problem but would love to hear any feedback as I can make improvements the will lead to a better experience.

TL;DR The controls for this are in the Customise Pause Menu, please let me know if there are any problems either actual bugs or lag problems :D

Org*sm Audio Plays On C*m Bar Fill

The feature that has done very well in previous small feature polls and won this one was the “Org*sm Audio Plays On C*m Bar Fill”. Like with most of the recent small features I wanted to add this slowly to make sure there are no problems. For now I have added it to these scenes

Just like with the Scroll Wheel I have made it so you will need to toggle this on in the Customise Pause Menu in order for it to take effect.

Now for now I have only made it so when he bar fills it will play the Org*sm audio and then go back to the normal audio once that’s finished. If this works well though I would like to add some more in depth stuff for you to customise that will happen when the bar fills. This is part of the reason why I would like to redesign the customise menu as then I would be able to add a whole section for something like “C*m Bar Actions”. This would let you customise what happens when the C*m Bar fills ranging from just the audio changing to having the character auto squ*rt, having they’re eyes roll back, have the F*ta C*mshot play or anything else you think would work well.

This is still a while off but just another idea I have for the future. That also being said it could be sooner than you think depending if people want to go ahead with this feature focused update thing. I’ll do a poll at the start of the month explaining fully what it will be and how it will work along with some ideas for features I’d like to add and if people like the idea then at the end of next month replacing the small feature poll will be an feature update poll where you can vote what feature you would like to be focused on.

These in depth feature updates will allow me to combine multiple small features into one update as I’ll be able to focus more on them and will also let me add features to every scene they work in instead of having to test it with a few then add it to the rest later as I’ll have more time to test that they work myself :))

Mitsuri Added

If you saw the WIP post you would know this is coming but for those that don’t as a little thank you for all the support I have added a new character that has been wanted for ages and always done well in polls. I know there wasn’t meant to be a new character this month but thought it would be nice as I also have another plan for the poll I’d like to do next month, I’ll quickly explain that and then move on to more about Mitsuri.

For next months poll it was meant to be a new character poll as this month had a scene poll however a lot of people did really like the scene options in the last poll so I thought i would do a poll now to see what the poll should be for Mid this month. The options i have at the moment are

Another Themed Character Poll (Dragon Ball, Demon Slayer Etc)

If people do want a character poll next instead of a scene poll of course I’ll do that I thought I’d just give you the option incase people would rather another scene :)

Now onto Mitsuri, firstly to unlock her I went with using coins to unlock her, I know that’s not the most interesting way XD but I didn’t have much time to get her added along with everything else so choose not to do a full quest, hopefully that’s ok.

Secondly I did have some problems with how her head is added, mainly with her hair. I tried to explain this to someone who asked and couldn’t really put it into words well but basically every object is on its own layer (Face, Hair Strand, Body) this are the main ones I was trying to get sit right and you might have seen in the WIP that her hair strand was infant of her body covering some of the good stuff. I wanted to get that strand behind her shoulder and back however the top part of the start needed to be in front of her face. This is where it gets confusing so don’t worry if it doesn’t make sense but basically her hair strand had to be in front of her face but behind her body however her face needed to be in front of her body. If that doesn’t make sense don’t worry the important thing is a found a way around it and have split the hair into two parts that allow me to make it look good. If you notice any clipping with the hair or her head is too small or too big in any scenes please let me know as I had to move things around to get the hair to fit nicely.

I’ve added her to a decent amount of scenes as well and should get her in the rest for the next update.

One last thing I couldn’t decide how to do her fringe so I did two options, one is short and more tidy and the second is a bit longer and more messy. You will be able to toggle between these two like with other characters that have the head design variations.

Jinx Head Redesign

Following on nicely from the last section for jinx this update I have redone her head and like with the others i’m very happy how it looks.

I’ve also received a lot of nice feedback about her from the WIP images so hopefully she looks just as good in the scenes.

I’m really enjoying the head variations as I think it adds a whole new thing to the game and really hope at some point I get to focus on just them for one of the feature focus updates to try and get a decent amount of the characters with a second head design.

More Outfits

This update I carried on with the outfits that were voted for in this months outfit poll going from most votes to least.

I have done 5 unique outfits which is quite good.

They all have multiple parts as well which should be able to be toggled on their own which is quite nice. I will continue to add more and will also have another outfit poll in about a week.

These have also been done for some of the newer characters which is however I think I said this in the WIP but I’ll say it here, I would like to start doing some unique outfits for the other scenes. I saw some people asking for unique outfits in the D*epthroat V2 scene and also in the B*objob. I started doing some sketches for the B*objob as I thought that could be quite fun and will also do some for the D*epthroat V2 soon but I would like to show you one that I got done just so you can see if its something you’d like.

This would be one for Judy as I know she doesn’t have a unique outfit in any scene so could be nice to get one done for her. I will also have most of the other characters sketches done in time for the next outfit poll if you’d like it to be a “B*objob Unique Outfit” themed poll.

Adding Characters To Scenes

I’ll try and keep the next few sections short as I can see my word count is getting a bit big. For the scenes I have focused on the Hole 3 and F*otjob this month

With an extra one added for Charlie as a lot of people want her.

I would like to keep working on the F*otjob and try and get most of the characters added to that and then when I get some more audio for the D*epthroat I can continue on with that :)

Still Images

So far this month I have done the Android 18 still image which is a redo of one of the old ones.

I also wanted to get a completely new one added along with it and from what people have been saying they would like the Yor Forger one.

The Starfire one will be ready for the Mid Month update next month along with a new never before seen one.

Background Themes

For the F*otjob scene I have got all the themes added so now which ever one you have selected should show in that scene.

Updating Of Charlie M’s Eyes

This is a bit of a smaller thing but a lot of people have been saying the Charlie’s eyes look a bit weir so I have fixed them, I hope, and they should look a lot better when open. If there are any other characters who have eyes that don’t look quite right please let me know and I’ll try get them fixed as well.

QOL

This has just been a small one such as, file size reduction, Shadow Toggle saves across scenes and then some bug fixes that were caused by the new loading system.

One main thing to look out for is any increase in lag, this could be anything from a slight delay when trying to load a scene to things lagging when trying to customise things. There shouldn’t be any increase to lag but I was thinking as there has been a lot of new systems added I just wanted to make sure that there aren’t any problems.
