May WIP Part 1. (Patreon)

Hey everyone, I hope you’re all doing good. I’ve got quite a few things to show you here, mainly to do with the Character Poll coming in about a week and the New TV Screen For Hole 1. Ill start with the Character Poll as that’s quite a big thing and I want to show you all the ones I’ve been working on incase you want to change your vote for what theme it should be.

Next Character Poll 

The next character poll will be coming around the 16th along with the next update. For this poll I have given you the option to pick between some different themes with a poll in the most recent Progress Report. It is very close at the moment between the Monster Girls and Video Game Characters so I thoughts id show you some of the head sketches I have for each incase it changes your mind :)

Hole 1 Tv Screen

Now this is probably the other thing you have been excited for and it is coming a long very nicely, at the moment I have some base colour down and am just working on adding some final details to it to make sure it’s as good as possible. If you want to see a progress of how it went here is the first line art for the Keyframes.

And here is how the colour is looking at the moment.

I was trying to play around a bit with how much the body should move and I think I have got it down quite well. For the background it will be using a similar Hole kind of style, which was trialed in the Hole 3 scene and looks a lot better, along with a new TV Screen that looks a lot better.

One of the harder things to get right with this scene is how the hands will work as you will be able to see them in both the Screen and the Main View. I originally thought when the hands are active I’ll have the arms kind of behind the body but thinking about this a bit more it doesn’t really make too much sense as the hand placement on the Main View is more of a to the side of the body view. My thought at the moment is to use the Holes, just like with the body, so that when a hand is active in the Main View a Hole will be placed around the hand to show that it is going through the wall. If you toggle off the hand in the Main View then the Hole will disappear from the Screen view and it will look like the hand is pressed against the wall, just like in the animation above. Hopefully you think this is a good way of doing it, I know it might not make total sense depending on where the hands are in the Main View, but I think this is the best way of doing it without having to remove other things from the scene to make it work. If you do think of any other ideas though let me know and I’ll see if they can work better.

This being said for this scene I am putting the arms and hands on their own layer which in the future should allow me to move them around and have them in different positions. One person suggested that the girl could be playing with her B*obs if the hand is not in the Main View, this is a very cool idea and could defiantly be done in the future.

Speed Range Feature & Scene Variable Saves

So I talked about this a bit in the progress report how I wanted to add some of the other small features from the poll that would be a bit easier to add and did well. I talked about how I thought the speed range would be a simple thing to add as I could just add a range slider and have a Min and Max value set, I was very wrong XD. There is no range slider in Unity so I had to kind of make my own, I was going to just use two sliders, one for Min and one for Max, but this needed up looking a bit weird so I had to code in my own double slider. This could be a bit glitchy as it was quite a hard things to do but the way it should work is you have two handles to move and if you push one past the other it will move both, at least that’s the way it’s supposed to work.

Now onto how I have added it in, this was also a very complex thing to do and get it looking nice UI wise, firstly I thought to have two buttons, one for the normal speed and one for the range, but this would kind of just over crowd the buttons on the right. For now I have gone with one button that will toggle between the two. The way this should work is on the start of the scene it will load what you have used previously, either range or normal, then if the speed sliders are not active clicking it will turn on whatever speed slider you used last time, then clicking it again while the speed slider is active will switch between the two. This might be a bit confusing so I will probably add a new tutorial thing to explain how it works but hopefully once you’ve tried it out a bit you’ll understand how it works.

This also leads onto the next thing which is that I have added something that will save variables in a scene, this will be toggled on automatically but you can toggle it off in the pause menu if you don’t want things to save across scenes. At the moment the only thing this will save is. If you are using the Random Range or Normal Speed Changer, What the Normal Speed Change Is, What the Min Speed Value Is For the Range and what the Max Speed Value Is For The Range.

If this works nicely I can add it to other things that need saving in other scenes.

More Speech Bubbles And Speed Sliders In Scenes

This is just a little thing I have been working on as well while I was messing around with the new Speed Range sliders. 

I have wanted to add these features to other scenes for a while so I can try and get them in all the scenes so for this update I have added the speed slider to both the F*ngering Scenes.

I have also added the Speech Bubble to the M*ssionary V2, D*ggy and B*objob scenes so hopefully you’ll all like that.

More Outfits

In the last progress report I talked about how with the updates to the code in the Hole 1 scene I would be able to add some more unique outfits and I have done just that.

For 3 character so far I have added some unique outfits and I plan to do a lot more.

I might not add anymore to the Hole 1 scenes between now and the next update, as there is an outfit poll out now for some outfits in other scenes, but after I have done a lot of then I will try and get some more unique ones added to the Hole 1 scene.

Adding Characters To Scene

Just like last month I have added a lot of characters to scenes already, at the moment I think there is around 11 new ones and I plan to do a lot more between now and the update.

So far I have focused on the Th*ghjob and the Hole 3 scene but now that I have done that I want to try and get some more Poison Ivy scenes add and also some added to the D*epthroat V2 as that hasn’t seen any new ones for a while.

If there are any other scenes you want me to focus on though please let me know :D

More Still Images

This update is also going to see some more still images with that being one for ElastiGirl and one for Luka.

I Already have one of these fully done so you can take a look at it now and then the other will be done and ready very soon.

I have also been working it bit on animating the still images and have one done for Loona, some people last update were asking for a still image of Roxy or Lola and i am working on that but in the mean time i thought this would be a nice little thing for you so hopefully you like it :)

Final F*otjob Animation Sketch

We now have all 4 animation sketches done and ready for the next scene poll around the 16th, I hope you like the look of this one and I can’t wait to see which one will be voted for as they all look very different and bring something new.

Misc Stuff

This is mainly just going to be bug fixes, I have a lot of people tell me things they’ve found which is very nice and helpful and I have gotten all of those fixed and ready, there was also some texture issues I found with things in the Hole 1 scene but this was to be expected. They are also all fixed now and it should be running smoothly.

If you do find any bugs though please let me know even if you think it might have been found already as it might not have and i’m always happy to hear :)
