Help With Installing, Updating And Transferring Save's

Hey Beta Testers :) I hope you're all doing well, there is quite a lot of new things in this update code wise for you to test out and enjoy. Some of these are small QOL things and some are more major code changes that i hope will open the door to adding a lot more cool stuff. I'll go through them first and then explain the other more fun stuff thats been added :D

Change Character Heads

So this is going to be one of the more major things code wise that could have some problems, but hopefully not, basically with the addition of ReDone character heads last update it came with some people liking the older versions and some people liking the newer versions, so what i have decided to do it to give you the option to pick which head you want.

Some things to note

• The heads should save across all scenes

• When you save your game it should remember what head you had toggled on

• The mouth audio should work across all heads

• You shouldn't be able to change to the head you already have selected and that option should be greyed out

The two things i could see going wrong with this is the audio not working properly as that was kind of a difficult thing to rig up and the heads not spawning in the right option, so far from what i can see it seems to be selecting the right head but let me know if there are any problems

New Tutorial System

There are a few spelling mistakes in this at the moment but ill get them fixed for the Non Beta

This is another small QOL addition that i think will help me to introduce new features a long with giving you tips and tricks for certain things. I know most of you probably already know how money and the phone work but incase you don't this window should show up to help you along the way.

The way i have it set up at the moment is you click "next" to go through all the tip parts and when you get to the end you can click it too close.

If you don't want to view the tip you can either click the X or click anywhere on the screen to close it early.

The way this should work is once you have viewed the the tutorial once it should't show up again, but let me know fi you run into any problems with it.

Showing Which Characters Still Need To Be Added To Scenes

The last Major QOL thing i added was something that shows which characters still need to be added to scenes to avoid confusion in not knowing which ones aren't in the game yet.

This should show up in any place where you can view a characters scene such as, All Scenes, In Scene Character Change, On your phone or upstairs Etc.

I have gone for "Pending" instead of "Coming Soon" as the Coming Soon takes up a bit too much space when viewing the scene name and can cause the text to shrink on smaller screen sizes, if you think of any words that could better describe it i'm happy to change it but i think for now Pending is a nice way of showing what hasn't been added yet.

New Character

This is probably the thing most people were looking forward to, Mrs McPherson has been added, you might be a bit confused by the name but i thought seeing as all the other girls have names and it works well for the paper sheet on the desk i thought it would be best to give her a proper name. This is rumoured to be her actual name from what i can see but i could change it to something else that might better fit her. Anyway here she is and i think she looks very good.

As for Leela, she also did very well and it was a very close poll in the end, probably the closest one we've ever had, going of that and the fact i have Leela's head already drawn i will be adding her in the near future when i have some free time or if she wins another poll she is in, so don't be worried about that :D

New Outfits

This update has seen quite a few outfits be added with the Sk*rt options being added to a few scenes as well as Gwen TDI getting her unique outfit for another scene.

These outfits should work like the rest but let me know if there are any overlapping problems or glitches with how they work :)

New Still Images And Animations

So, for these i actually did some more animation moving image things as i wanted to have a go at that again, i think for these ones they look a lot better than the first two i tried but let me know what you think :)

The main problem i could see coming with these is the file size, what i have done at the moment is reduce the quality slightly, they still look nice in game but obviously look better here. I have two option i think could work for this.

1. I upload all the images here in a folder for you to look at whenever you want. This would be good but would also mean you don't need to unlock them in game.

2. I could make a website that will hold all the images, from in the game you will be able to click a button to send all the data about what images you've unlocked to the website and from there you will be able to view all the images you've unlocked in HD

Both of these can work but i think the second one would be more fun :D

I also have a couple more images that have been updated and will have one more done for the Non Beta

Adding Characters To Scenes

I have also been adding characters to scenes they weren't already in, trying to spread them out across lots of different scenes but hopefully there is something here that you can all enjoy :)

New Audio

So i haven't added any new audio for the Beta however for the Non Beta i will have 7 more characters with the added audio so should be around 250+ seconds of new audio in total.

Other Misc Stuff

There are some other small things like added dialogue options for character in the speech bubbles and their rooms but just let me know if you run into any glitchy things with them and ill get them fixed.
