I strongly encourage putting it in the settings to allow the user to choose control prompts, if that isn't already a thing. Automatically detecting controls is great, but a way to correct it if it's wrong is good. That's especially true if for example using a PlayStation or Nintendo controller in a way that appears to be an Xbox controller for a game. Certainly that's not a deal breaker if it's a large amount of work, but it's nice to have. If you do a Steam version eventually, there is an API to get the right button icons/glyphs from the Steam API too, if using Steam input: https://partner.steamgames.com/doc/features/steam_controller/getting_started_for_devs Thanks for the update, and Happy New Year!

That's a good idea! Although I don't think it's possible to use PS buttons layout, as they're trademarked by Sony. I'll have to settle with ABXY or the generic diamond pattern ones. - Punipen
