We've got a lot of work done this month! The game world now feels richer than before. Can't wait to put all of these components into the game.

Hello, I love the illustration. It's cute ❤ Month after month, the game is refined and becomes more and more beautiful. Well done! The new life bar system looks interesting. it's a bit like what a classic RPG does. It will definitely change the overall balance of the fights. To see what it is going to give. Once again, congratulations for the overall quality of the game. When I got into it several months ago, it was already beautiful, but this is magnificent!

Haha apron赛高~

This reminds me.... I dunno if it's something you want to fix but you keep using "equipments" as a plural of equipment. It doesn't have a plural. It's a noncount noun meaning that the "plural" of equipment is in fact equipment.

Northie

Same applies to armor btw so a shop sells weapons and armor and not weapons and armors... though I see this rule broken more often than the equipment one. Especially in American English.

This is some great news here; the game is looking more & more realistic. especially the part about the health, though using save spots to heal is something to get used too. Curious how the sex scenes are gonna be now. I feel like Volger in a naked Apron will serve a purpose in Customer Service (I’m naughty) Some of the NPC males are sexy, hope you can play with them

Wonderful progress! Great work over there, all! The game is really coming together!

Luke Cai

This feels like a premium addition to an already good rpg. Can't wait to see volga in a naked apron!

Gystes

Well this is going to be a difficulty spike. It's funny how healing essentially remained completely worthless despite the change. (Actually after reading the post I'm confused now. Does or doesn't the healing stay after the battle? If it's the latter I fail to see how they'd stop you from using consumables.) The save thing in particular is going to be obnoxious though. I'm starting to feel like this game is getting a bit feature-creepy, but I'm clearly in the minority for thinking that.

ZR

I am wary of that. Increased tension? Definitely. More fun? We'll see. It sounds like anything you lose after a battle can only be restored by items or saving. Considering how unlikely it was as of the last time I played for in-battle healing to exceed damage taken, I'm not sure I understand discarding in-battle HP gains.

Can the changes to dungeons' "healing" be reserved for higher difficulty settings? I'm really enjoying the casualness of the game on Normal :)

Mestev

The way I read that part about battle healing was the excess green healing was dropped after battle. So to use the green bar to protect your real health bar or use items outside battle to top up your health. Nice to see the addition of side jobs, wonder if those will be linked to quests or dates. Also hope we can start getting more dates soon.

Nickthulhu

Great mini animations! They’re really cute and really good. A minor addition but a good one. I’m not sure on the healing change. We’ll have to see how it plays. I’m not a fan of the saving change. I HATE save points! Maybe it will be an improvement but I don’t think so…

Anonymous

Save points suck since you’d essentially have to fight enemies in a row now given the new health changes. Also what if players wanna save at the points before triggering the plot scenes that are not currently in the gallery? Speaking of, since exiting the dungeon also heals you completely now, does the game stop you from exiting the dungeon right after defeating the enemies to restore health? If yes, would the progress be saved or lost? If no, then what’s the point of adding this new system since ppl will exploit the heck out of that. (And adding inconvenience along the way) I also don’t think the new health system is gonna bring anything fun other than tension into the game at current state unless the healing gems heal the player (not the opponent) drastically more than it is now. (Especially on higher difficulties since you’d now have to think for your status for your next battle too)

ShadeDergü

I would assume the game will be rebalanced accordingly with enemy health, Volga Health, and Damage values

Anonymous

If that's the case, sure, it would work. But I would also assume such drastic changes to the game would be mentioned in this report as well.

kemocoliseum

We might do something to make it easier for Casual difficulty, but no plan for Normal difficulty for now. I still hope to keep the casualness even with this change, so after the first two chapters of the revised version is released, we'll see how this goes. - Punipen

kemocoliseum

Yes, that is correct. You can come out of battle with the same health as you start the fight this way. In the next release, you'll be able to date Aoba and Tharsix for now, which I hope it'll be enough to show how the new date system work. The side jobs aren't linked at any quests or dates at the moment, as we want to finish other higher priority content first but it's a possibility after those are done. - Punipen

It's as ShadeDergü said, the game will be rebalanced accordingly, since we intend to rebalance the game during the revision process anyway. My apology for not including this part in the report to reassure that we won't stick with the current enemy stats. Regarding the save point, we've got requests for replaying scenes that aren't erotic scenes in the Scene Replay mode despite being able to save anywhere right now, so if that's your concern, then we might address this at some point in the future. To be able to save anywhere or not doesn't take that long to change, so we will observe how this will affect the game during play testing. As for your other questions, we have plans to address those issues. We'll post more about it later once we implement and test them. - Punipen

kemocoliseum

ZR is correct. The healing doesn't stay after the battle. This means that there's a chance you'll leave battle without taking any damage by building and protecting your green health during battle. Enemy's parameters will definitely be adjusted accordingly. Please keep in mind that the current release is from the decision to release new chapters as fast as possible. It isn't supposed to be final and there are many things we'd always wanted to address, but had to wait until now to actually implement them. All of your concerns are understandable. Feature creep is a pitfall we're being careful not to fall into. However, which feature is unnecessary and is considered feature creep can often be difficult to decide. I can only say that we only make changes when we think that it'll make the game more fun or better, and try our best to pick the path where it will save our time the most in order to implement them. - Punipen

kemocoliseum

Thank you. I understand that the save point might sound like an inconvenience. We'll see how we feel when we test the game and weight our options again. - Punipen

Oswald Townshend

Love the work cutscenes. The new dungeon camera is very nice. Cant wait to play the revised chapters once they're all tested and such.

Nickthulhu

We’ll see how it ends up. It might be fine. I’ve just always hated save points,

ShadeDergü

Just realized Volga seems to be naked outside of that apron in the waiter clip Could also just be that the loincloth is covered by it but I would not be opposed to basically nide waiter Volga

孤竹君

GREAT update! I thought the game was too easy even in the hard mode. Now it has become more difficult, and more realistic, we need to save HP for each battle!!!

jd_ghost

I'm not a fan of the mechanical changes. I feel like these changes are just going to slow the game's pace down to a crawl, not create tension. There's so many quests to do and materials to gather and equipment and skills to buy that the game is really grindy at the best of times. Making it so we have to buy consumables, which eats up more money, which is more grinding and having us get thrown back to an arbitrary point in the dungeon any time a fight goes south sounds really tedious and boring. The game's tension was great with how unpredictable fights can be and with all the different unique effects all over the place. I really feel like this will just making the pace of the game feel awful.

The look of Volga in this animation is adorable. A cute detail and one of the lots of fantastic things that I love about this game.

kemocoliseum

Thank you for the feedback. I honestly don't like too much grinding either, but the current state of the game is what it is because we didn't have time and resource to carefully balance the cost of everything. We've got many feedbacks about how people want to try various skills, equipments and armor bonuses, but there are many factors that discourage them from doing so. This includes expensive skills being a risky investment, pushing them into spending money on something that's guaranteed to be useful like upgrading armor instead, as well as not having many ways to make money. These new changes will therefore come with other adjustments to make them work well together. We will be careful and take the pace of the game into account as well. - Punipen
