The new build is now live. You'll be able to reach the end of the slave auction quest now.

Please note that the game is still in development. Many things aren't final and will be changed or improved later after the revision process.

As always, you'll get the new version by updating the game through itch client. You can read a more in detail release note here (requires logging in to your itch account that owns the patreon version of the game to access).

What an awesome development! I really like all the emotional twists and turns the story is taking with these scenes and the party assist system is a really good help against all these high-health enemies in the dungeon and really makes it feel like you're in a party with other members. Wonderful stuff! You guys are doing a great job, as always!

....I’m kinda over it now. Every update my save file is deleted automatically and I have to start all over. This is getting really, really irritating.

I'm sorry to hear that happened to you. The update shouldn't affect any new files created by the game during runtime, which includes config files the save files. Not sure what happened and it seems like it doesn't happen to everyone. If there are more people who experience the same issue, it'll help me find out what goes wrong. - Punipen

Volga's extended punishment is a complicated case. Even though it's not a scene required for the main story, he is the main character and one of the characters that Nullghost loves, so I want Nullghost to be the one who finish the CG. Currently, Nullghost is assigned tasks that have higher priority like Agon's character design or can be finished quickly like helping Mamaduo improving some sketches. Once the higher priorities tasks are done, we'll work on Volga's punishment scene. However, if the situation calls for it, I'll give up on the idea and give the CG to someone else to finish. The scene will be added soon after the CG is finished like Kailano's punishment scene. - Punipen

Thank you for your response, I have to say that I suspected that something like this was the case, given there has been no update about the scene for quite some time, and that the character has a particular significance to Null-Ghost . So it makes sense that you would like him to be the one to finish it, and given the complex history of Null and this game I fully understand the delay. I hope that you continue to work with him to complete the game as you both imagined!

Will Aquilo be getting a quest that focuses more on him in Chapter 5? I like all the characters but he's one of my favorites and yet it feels like he's gotten the least amount screen time. The one quest he had a central role in was more about the bandits than it was about him. He's also had probably the fewest interactions with the other main characters who weren't Volga. I know we've already learned his motivation for entering the tournament, and I'm sure there are things you want to save for his romance, but I'd be really disappointed if the stopping Shou's assassination quest was all the focus he got in the main story. It just feels so lackluster compared to what we've gotten for Tharsix and Cyrus in these most recent updates, and Volga's whole crisis of faith that Darius brought on in Chapter 3. (Not to say that the quest to save Shou wasn't also a good one, it was just more about Ilknis and Dugan. Aquilo was more of a supporting character.) The idea that the Avis are an exploited minority is also an interesting one and I'd be disappointed if it didn't get explored a little more in the story. I don't know... I'm probably worrying over nothing. Your writing has been consistently good and I'm sure that you have something planned for Aquilo after he loses his match to Volga like what you had planned for Tharsix. They still haven't become friends yet after all!

just played this build have to say loving the enemies designs and character designs and im looking forward to future content and well done on the story its actually emotionally connecting with the characters seeing their past their struggles and what they overcome and keep up the good work and will there be new armour looks after upgrading them so far is that something you have already considered?

I absolutely ADORE the game so far. I've only played the public demo version but I really love what you've done with it! I am crushing on Cyrus so hard, so I'm so excited to see more of that cutie hehehe!

Thank you! I don't think there'll be a new look for his armor for now since there are other elements in the game that have higher priority. Changing Volga's clothes is something we would love to do if we have time though. - Punipen
