A quick update to let everyone know that we're working on re-balancing the exp and level in the game. The old formula was a placeholder and while it worked well in the beginning, it started to show its issue in chapter 3. The required exp grows too big and causes Volga to be at a level lower than what we expected.

We're working on adjusting the exp table as well as calculating the exp you'll gain from finishing each dungeon without repeating any battle. This should make the game easier in the next update.

We have also added auto advance text feature to the visual novel scene. This will allow you to watch a visual novel scene without having to click your mouse, so your hands are free to... do whatever you need to do :P

For a really long time I didn't realize how effectively many RPGs set intended levels for areas, by controlling the experience from fights relative to how much is needed per level. Seeing a relative of mine ignore most random encounters and rapidly catch up in level in new areas in SNES/PS1 RPGs opened my eyes to that. I'm not sure if that's how you're doing it, but it's certainly interesting.

That's what we're doing now :D We didn't have time to clean up these things before but we recently organized our database so it's easy to do this now. More details will be in the progress report! - Punipen

Quick question, can you get more heart tokens in t he current build? Aoba wants to talk about something to me in the inn and I'm lacking one to proceed :D

Actually nevermind, was too hasty! Got more hearts later during chapter 3 from those not yet implemented hangout options opening up :D

Oh, that's good to hear! Frankly I forgot if I've given more or not. Though I should really add a debug/testing spot where you can gain more Heart Tokens for free if you run out of it. - Punipen

Yeah I was bit hasty with my initial question! For debug/testing purposes, maybe as random drop on the dungeons or add temporary store item where you can buy heart tokens, or just add option to gain required tokens when the pop-up comes that states you have 0 tokens, do you want to spend 1 - or just let players advance to hangout even when ran out, as long as there's cap for the heart stages during development!
