Chapter 3 Release Plan (Patreon)

A small update regarding the new build this month. Due to the amount of contents in chapter 3, I don't think we can release the whole chapter in time. And thus, on the 30th of September, we will release a build where you can play up to the end of the first main quest in chapter 3.

While I understand that everyone is looking forward to play the whole chapter, I really don't think it's possible to release it without sacrificing a lot of the game's quality.

The first quest alone has many visual novel scenes that need to be directed. They are also all written in Japanese, and thus I have to be the one who translate them to English. Having to do this on top of programming and putting every element together into a playable build can be very time consuming.

Unfortunately, you won't be able to date a character until you clear the 1st main quest in the chapter 3, however. But there's a sexy scene between Volga and Darius, and you'll get to learn more about Volga's past, so I hope you will enjoy it!

We will continuously release a new update after that. I suppose it'll go back to how we release chapter 1. Instead of finishing the whole chapter and release, we will release each portion of the chapter.

Understandable. It's a lot of work you all have put into the game and it should be something you're proud to show off. Personally I'd much rather wait longer for a quality release than to get one now that is not up to the highest standard it can be. Take your time and make sure this game is everything you want it to be, we've waited this long and little more time won't kill anyone. Keep up the good work.

Thank you so much for understanding! I think cutting the release to just the end of the first quest is a good compromise that balance between acceptable quality & showing the playable build to our supporters. One thing I'm a little worried is that the translation will definitely be a bit rushed. If we have enough time, I'll hire an editor to take a look at the game's script. I'll post an update more about this again once we finish directing all the scenes and I finished the translation. - Punipen

Release it slowly my dudes. A slow progress but quality is better than a rushed and buggy one. Release what you can then slowly introduce it.

I don't really see the need to do this honestly. We've already waited this long for the chapter, whats an additional month or two really going to do? Besides, everyone here should be used to yearly builds by now anyway <3

Part of it is for myself and the team. Working on each component for a long time can be tiring and make you lose sight of what the game will look like. We found that each time we see things put together in a playable build, it motivates us and boosts our morale to work more on the game. And the feeling of reaching a milestone is nice too! - Punipen

Yeah, we learned from last time where we didn't have enough time to playtest the game and there was a major bug that prevent you from progressing. Yikes. x_x - Punipen

Probably better to do it like this than try to rush the entire chapter, or release nothing at all until it's finished.

Will the patron gallery be updated with the released contents or will it be updated with all the contents from the new chapter? still excited either way, all the new features and art looks great.

The gallery will be updated with the released content. Next build should include Mohtir's extended punishment scene + his CG, so that will be updated in the gallery as well. - Punipen
