Finally we finished playtesting last night, as well as fixing numerous bugs & issues in the game. It took us around 3.5 ~ 4 hours to finish the 2nd chapter. The changes include:
  • Improved Armor Bonus enchantment UI
  • You can no longer sell Gimdin the gears you're currently equipping
  • Loading a save file won't reset the list of items Gimdin's created and shipped to Murvin anymore
  • The game now correctly shows the amount of materials you have in the fortune teller store
  • Improved gem enchantment's description localization system
  • Losing to a coliseum boss now shows you Volga's Game Over scene correctly
  • Quest log now displays all quests correctly and not just the main quests
  • All equipment's descriptions are now in the game's chosen language (English only for now)
  • Confirmed that all events in chapter 2 work correctly
  • Upgrading armor with Gimdin now display the armor's new durability along with the cost
  • The scene during upgrading armor with Gimdin is now much quicker starting from the 3rd time (No more stripping sequence)
  • Replaced all skill icons with new ones. A skill icon will represents the element of that skill
  • Added missing visual novel sprites of some characters

After this, we'll do the following before releasing the game:

  • Adjust enemies in chapter 2
  • Adjust bosses in chapter 1 and 2
  • Adjust armor bonus enchantment's required materials
  • Add missing combat sprites to the gallery
  • Add sound effects to various parts in the game (mainly UI part)
  • Add "clear" marker to an enemy panel in a dungeon
  • Make it more obvious that a skill is ready

We've noticed many things other than what we listed above that we could improve & polish more, but we won't go over all of them at this point. Any polishing can be done after this and release as a small update. Adjusting enemies shouldn't take that much time, since Kurono has already wrote down useful notes.

We'll need some time to prepare the build for both Windows and OSX, as well as disabling Japanese language for this release. Please wait just a bit more!

Sounds like decent progress, im really glad you're putting alot of effort before releasing the build and fairly quickly. I hope it'll be finished by this week or so.

when it comes to Aoba definitely needs a better personality. he went from a possible good one to a Shota. thus he feels very much out of place
