Since I get a lot of requests, I'm going to make this little post to give people an idea of what I may accept to work on, and what I'll never even consider working on, because I have the feeling a lot of people have a wrong idea of the reason I'm modding this game.

As a matter of fact, despite being a "modder", I don't like to play with mods. I'd rather play Vanilla, if the game wasn't completely unplayable without mods. I was playing Vanilla before they started introducing features that were not only useless but straight up annoying (the greetings before Get Together being the first one of these "features") and breaking the game with patches and more stupid features.

I started modding the game because most of the mods I was forced to put in game to make it bearable, more logical, and less bullshit, were too complicated for my taste and were adding too much on top of simple features I wanted, so most of my mods are meant to be a simpler version of other mods, first of all IR-Cheating (all the other mods that attempted to fix Maxis ridiculous jealousy system didn't last 3 minutes in my game because they were too complicated)

Here are a list of Maxis features I don't use because too complicated, or annoying for me:

Active Careers, the Veterinary Clinic, Clubs, EL policies, I'm thinking about removing Sentiments, I'm also thinking about disabling Lifestyles. I don't like the sickness system either (if it wasn't for the build mode, I would have skipped most of the EPs and GPs) 

Here is a list of mods I wouldn't put in my game under torture:

Custom aspirations, custom personality traits, custom events (I can't help with any of these) custom careers (I did put some that were integrated with the game flawlessly and simple enough, but ended up removing them again because they were cluttering the jobs menu), mods that are too complicated and add too much gameplay, unless I can turn off 90% of it (WW and Basemental Drugs both have the 95% of features turned off in my game), mods that change the in-game mechanics to be too different than what they are in Vanilla game.

This said, the more complicated your idea is, the less likely I am to even consider it. Also the more your idea sounds like making things easier (removing relationship limitations, making stuff free) the less likely I am to consider it.

Mods adding, altering, or changing too much stuff are a big NO for me, all my mods are simple and studied to blend into the game without making it too annoying. If a mod becomes annoying I remove it, even if it's one of my owns.

I really like how your mods are quietly under the surface or, those that aren't, tweak things to make the game more challenging! Thanks for being so awesome.

I think a lot hyper realistic features are very good only on paper... put them into the game and you end up using the feature once, waiting for the NPCs to visit your pet for 7 hours at the clinic, finally getting bored, buying 99 wellness treats at the machine, and leave to never see the clinic ever again (true story)

You are by far one of my favorite creators out there, and I play with a lot of mods. Your occult mods are hands down some of the best & I want to thank you for taking time to mod & improve the game for a lot of people. So, thanks!

I don't know if there is a specific area you would want mod ideas in but I personally am finding the fact utility bots self-destruct when broken for less than a day completely ridiculous. If someone can repair an old car from the 50s a robot shouldn't be trash after a few days.

Utility bots from University? I haven't played with them at all (but I noticed one has a mistake in the strings that says "bob to music" even for adult sims.)

If I had just one wish, it’d be to get rid of the paparazzi. Maybe celebrities entirely, but definitely the paparazzi.

I agree with this statement 100% I don't think EA knows it's audience very well, they keep making cutesy stuff like dust bunnies and most of the people who play Sims4 are older some in their 50's.

One mod I would love to have is the stop making random sims, this game aye-yi-yi. I have my own npc's more than enough I have pre-made tons of them, but rather than use my Sims it will keep making random ones. MCCC can slow it down but not completely stop it. Now, that would be the mod of mods there.

So I have a mod that's supposed to stop it and it was also working before the patch... But sims right now are ignoring the tests so the mod is not working either (just like MCCC it's slowing it down but not stopping it, so I don't know if it's the same problem because last time I enabled the option in MCCC it was doing it too well for my taste and I like to leave a bit of casualties) as soon as the mod is working again I'll notice (for now I just did a workaround preventing them from building a romance, you can use that in combination with MCCC settings)

to make the game a little more difficult. I wish there was something with skill levels. If you are not using that skill, you kinda lose the skill. Obviously not decay fully. Say its at 8, for .... handy. But the sim stops working on their handy skill... over time itll decay maybe down to like 3. Just make you constantly at working on your skill levels. Making reach to 10 harder

Would it be possible to make a mod to make certain Occult Sims have special Interactions when interacting with spectors, For example Mermaid Sims could use Siren Songs to make Spectors leave happy, Spellcastors can use the Necrocall spell to banish Spectors, and vampires can Command Spectors to leave, plus possibly an addon to the Simray from GTW to have an option to either banish or capture spectors.

I removed the Spectres from my game and it's unlikely I'll enable them again... they're gone for good.

Edit: I initially commented this in the wrong post... Maybe it's just in my game, but I hate it when my Active Sims or NPCs are tired and, instead of going to their beds or take a nap on a couch, as soon as there's a hot tub in the lot they go in there... I use LMS's Power Nap, so would it be possible to 'tell' Sims to either go to sleep, if energy is on the red, or take a power nap whenever they're in the yellow/near red. Or simply take a nap/power nap on the nearest bed/couch/loveseat?

There is a system that makes them pick the nap over the full sleep before 9 pm... I quite like it. I don't know if removing the restriction from the sleeping would make them pick sleep over nap, but it's quite complicated (fastest and easier way is using scam to remove the autonomy from napping)

Love your mods thanks so much ! I was wondering wether or not it would be possible to use different animations for when you cast a spell. The one used to transform other sims into spellcasters has a nice "powerful" vibe that would go great with the most powerful spells. (There's also the animation used when the sage cast the magic mote spell on you that has a little extra).

Would require to edit all the interactions for the spells. And I'm not sure such animations would work with the spectral react perk.

So glad I found your page, your mods have been a wonderful addition to my game. I am interested in adding a food allergy option to my game, perhaps using the same preference system as the weather instead of a trait. Would a general allergy that triggers a moodlet or timed death be too complicated? Similar to the weather options, there could be 3 categories, maybe seafood, gluten, and peanuts. I think the most time consuming portion would be marking each food item as containing an allergen. Sorry to ramble, would love to hear your thoughts on this idea!

Hi, thank you for your effort. I have never downloaded some many gameplay fixes and addons from one modder. Even though you do not care on the game or community, people still appreciate your work and share your ideas. I was looking a lot for a mod to fix somewhat robotics skill from University and I guess you were already for something like this. Here is something that I have, maybe you can expand it: Bots overall: - Make all robots water proof as an high tier upgrade Cleaning bot: - Currently it only cleans garbage on the floor and water. But, it doesn't clean dishes Garden bot: - Currently it only waters flowers. But, it doesn't feed Cow plant, and it doesn't harvest (add inventory) Party bot: - It's not working as a substitute to music box. If you place a dancing floor noone will dance (this option will be greyed) even though music is playing and party mode is turned on/off. Currently NPC are not ordering anything from the bot. Repair bot: - Add ability to charge other bots, repair servo and heal sims from common diseases Servo: - remove wishes to go from its original standing/sitting/lying point and sit on the sofa/bed, etc to charge - remove wish to eat food

Hello! I don't know if this request is too much to ask. I use your Vampire Witches (I honestly use all of your RoM mods tbh along with the Voodoo one, because it's my culture). I wondered if it is too much to request a similar mod, but for Mermaids (I would love my mermaids to be able to use the RoM spells). I wanted to try it on my own, but I realized that I was terrible at modding the game. I do have Expanded Mermaids, but it does not offer this feature to be able to use the RoM spells and alchemy like your Vampire Witches mod does

Problem is that I need to redo all the interactions but mermaid should be technically compatible even with the witches UI (vampires conflict)

I hope you can make fix mod like male sim run, jog or default like being feminime like female sim since cottage living patch.

hey is it possible for you to look at the parenthood lunch glitch where sims won't eat their packed lunches and it ends up spoiling in their inventory

I think bienchen or Lms Sam already have a fix for that. I don't remember which one, I never saw the glitch in game.

Your mods are great! I’m not sure if this would be one your interested in but with the spa update the nails go away in like a day. Is there anyway you could do a mod to make them stay on longer?

Surely it's a commodity. If no one gets to it before me I will (I haven't even tested the new patch yet)
