In her everlasting pursuit to strengthen her bond with the elements and the title of Avatar, Korra agrees to undergo a series of brutal and life threatening trials the likes of which haven't been seen for a thousand years.

With walls far enough apart that Korra's legs only span them with toes outstretched, even attaining this position puts a huge amount of strain on her body. The Avatar's thighs and calves pump and burn within minutes. Solid waits weigh down her every limb, turning the tough hold into near impossible torment. Each time she lifts her arms up she can feel the weights sapping her strength, and through the entire challenge, her core is twitching with effort to keep her balanced. She must work carefully to keep herself upright and make sure her movements are accurate as she tests various keys on the lock around her neck. Only one will release her from the chain noose that chokes her more the lower she sinks. Even if she manages to find the key, a long, perilous climb upward awaits her, the pit bottom a long way down and lined with spikes. Perhaps the most brutal part of this challenge is that everything is made of platinum - there is no cheating, no back up plan, and no help coming.
