Korra's Trials - Fire [Commission] (Patreon)

In her everlasting pursuit to strengthen her bond with the elements and the title of Avatar, Korra agrees to undergo a series of brutal and life threatening trials the likes of which haven't been seen for a thousand years.

 The fire trial takes her heat endurance to the next level as she finds herself deep in the caverns of an active volcano. With much of the cave pitch black, she needs to hold onto the scalding candles for light, while keeping up a pace to let her find her way out before they extinguish and leave her trapped in the lethal heat. The air is so hot it feels like it scorches her skin and lungs, her body quickly saturated with sweat that steams as it drips from her pained muscles. Korra's feet are in agony, stepping constantly against hot coals, with one misplaced step potentially being the difference between life and death.
