 Never in her life had Azula doubted her perfection, her skill, her poise. She was a prodigy, and had been ever since she understood what that word meant. Trained in martial arts, strategy and ruthlessness for her entire life her confidence was boundless and well placed. She was met with awe, reverence or fear wherever she went, and by nobody more so than her friend Ty Lee.

 But something bothered her.

 Every year since the defeat of the Avatar and the victory of the Fire Nation army, she'd visit Ember Island with her most loyal friends, Ty Lee and Mai for a well earned celebration and break. Azula's confidence lasted until they hit the beach... at which point Ty Lee stripped down to her bikini. Suddenly all the attention - from boys and girls alike - was on the phenomenal body of the acrobat. Full breasts, slender waist and gorgeous hips, firm and well trained from a lifetime of circus performances. Even Azula couldn't deny that her friend was strides ahead of her in this regard... and it constantly ate at her ego.

 Eventually she refused to let the insult to her continue. She wanted a tighter body, a stronger, more powerful, more threatening one. Azula intensified her training using everything at her disposal. She doubled her martial arts practice and had one of her palace rooms  converted into a gym for hours of daily training. The results were slow and the methods painful, but within a year she was ready for her next beach trip... this time, nobody would be able to take their eyes off her.
