Production Blog: Hayseed takes a small detour. Halo stuff (Patreon)

The rigs for Sheriff Hayseed have taken a small detour in direction as storyboarder and animator, Bisque, has offered his expertise on the Harmony puppets to make sure they're the best they can be. Bisque has real experience in the industry (of which i technically have none) so it should be interesting.

This shouldn't add much time to production at all and, at best, speed things up actually. If Bisque can take over rig building it'll be another job off my hands! Any time it does take to do this is easily accounted for as one of the VA's is sick so the final storyboard can't be finalized just yet. But there's plenty of work to do in the meantime!

And personally, I've been working on the Halo 2 parody since passing things off to Bisque on the rigging front.

Vanadium did a run of character designs to get things started, and I've been working on the technical turnarounds to build animation puppets from later.

Sheriff Hayseed is still the main priority but it's a bit stuck in pre-production as rigs are built and voice actors recover, but once things are set and good to go there is an animation team on standby ready to jump on it. So in the meantime, we dabble in pre-production of a few other things to keep a pipeline moving. That's all for now! more things later
