Retrograde Amnesia in 2022 (Patreon)

Hello again! Last time you heard from me it was because I accidently published a draft. 

Besides Eric watching The Spirits Within nine times, here's what we're up to:

Recording and production for the Final Fantasy VIII series is complete. For now, we turn our attention to finishing out the Pod Kompression ($3) bonus series. Here's what's coming up:

• The SeeD Exam (recorded)
• Conspiracy Hour (discussion of fan theories such as Squall is Dead)
• Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within (that one movie that tanked Squaresoft)
• Character Bracket (similar to the CC version of this)
• Explain Final Fantasy VIII to Our Spouses (you know what this is!)

After this, the Suikoden series will begin production. Not much new to declare here, other than I am extremely amped to get into Suikoden. In case you missed it, we'll be covering both Suikoden and Suikoden II as part of this season. 

Timing for the next the miniseries has not been decided. For Terranigma and Parasite Eve, we did it between seasons. For Star Ocean, we took a break from FF8 production and cranked out the Star Ocean series. This will probably be the approach for the next one, but we'll let everyone know when the bantering begins for the miniseries nominations down the line. We'd like to get a good chunk of Suikoden recorded before moving on to the next mini.

The Pods of Fate will return. For some reason, I've been playing Another Eden in prep to play the Chrono Cross collaboration, Complex Dream. I plan to cover this in some way in the future, possibly doing a normal run through it and trying to explain everything to Eric in one session, discussing Another Eden at a high level and then delving into the Complex Dream scenario. Thus, the Chrono Cross bonus series will have one more episode. More to come!  

Join us on Discord for the live recording sessions. We usually have one session per week in which we record two normal episodes or one bonus episode. We post the schedule on the Events section on Discord. From there, you can mark yourself 'interested' and you'll get a reminder when the event starts. All you need to do is connect your Discord account to your Patreon account and you'll be added to the server. 

There's a new/weird way to be part of the show. For season 4, patrons can submit a short audio file of you saying "you're welcome, Chris" to be played during the intro. We'll post a submission method sometime before we start recording the Suikoden series.
