dont know anything ab this series but I do know lot Ancient Chinese history I wonder all the emperor woman will be fight over each other, try kill one or another and alot really disgusting deal between them. idk if the anime going to take this route of the story later, but I kindve hope it do since so far is kindve...boring despite theres many things u could write they choose this route

honestly from ep 2 it sounded like he was the emperor under cover? it would make sense since he was by the two childrens sides in the beginning of ep 1 and he seems to be important

I think if its not on purposely it will be better, and clearly she dont like it, so I think he should stop But I agree with you that they dont care, but that does not mean we shouldnt care, or rather we should feel "thats okay" yea in the past Ancient China, woman is the lowest, like a person just to produce baby or just do the things, and cant even really have any gud career for em nor went to skl, they most just wait to be marry by the choice of their parents or even their marriage could be a deal for money or peace but they at the times think this is normal dont me we should think it is too for example: the emperor of Ancient China may be 40 or 50 yrs old and marry to a teen girl, is normal to em, but we cant just say oh thats ok since thats in past, like we can understand y it happen but dont mean am happy seeing it
