W episode, Gundam has just been firing on all cylinders since the new cour started. The confrontation was so well done, and I love that at the beginning we though Suletta was going to save miorine from her dad, but now Miorine has to save Suletta from her mom.

Also don't feel too bad about keeping up on the political situation, I'm a gundam veteran and have trouble keeping up on first watch. They just be throwing those corp and group names at you nonstop lol

I second this. So far G-Witch feels like a show that benefits alot from multiple re-watches due to how complicated the political situation, world building, and some of the character relationship dynamics are; the show never holds your hand on anything and hopes you can keep up. Not saying it's a bad thing though, as it does make re-watches of this show pretty interesting with how detailed and layered this show is.
