By the way, the "top 3" of the second selection aren't the actually 3 best at blue lock (aside from Rin, Ego and the other players all immediately knew he was HIM in that training room in ep 12). The rankings for the 2nd selection were decided by who finished the 100 goals against blue lock man first That's why characters like Kunigami, Bachira, Barou and Chigiri had lower numbers than Isagi when they'd obviously DESTROY him at that point The test stage gauged Shooting Accuracy mainly but a lot of people who are better than him but took their time ended up below Isagi (there's a volume extra that goes through this)
