I think Alicent can't do anything even if she wanted right now, Aemond is mad as fuck, Aegon just tossed Otto aside and she has no voice in the council right now because Aegon is ready for war and she lost the respect of her sons because of Otto and because she literally is not trying to help them, like, when Aegon was crying for his baby she saw him, got out and go fuck with Cole lmao, and don't make me even start in that fucking petty bitch, he is the hand and the only thing he did was diminish her position in the council and convinced Aegon to go to war. Even if Rhaenyra is right, she can't just come to court and say "Hey yall! Guess what, we were wrong" they would literally hang them all even if Rhaenyra didn't wan't it. Btw, this is not to justify her, I hate the stupid bitch and she brought it upon herself, if she wants to stop this she would need to kill Aegon because I don't see him forgiving his sons death, and I don't even blame him, that was a dick move from Daemon, Rhaenyra is just a rare case of mother that could accept her son death without a bloodbath.
