Think Studio Orange and SANZIGEN (look up "why you should watch d4dj" on YouTube for an example from them) spoiled us with GOATed 3D animation; the main character models look pretty good and are very expressive, but the NPCs look like shit. At least the GBC has good art direction to mask the CG (sometimes). Also just really like the OST in this episode. At least it led ED to having a great reaction to not knowing this is all CG lol.

Saw this one as winter was ending, genuinely liked the CGI as a fan of Persona games, pretty smooth - looks like it will be a fun (albeit it not as good potentially) bocchi/k-on esque show

i can't agree, with how cgi is being used in the anime industry, it's super refreshing to see the models being treated more like disney characters in how they act and express themselves rather than 2D drawings. It's really using the 3D medium to it's fullest. Obviously it's not perfect and janky here and there, models of background characters look like genshin npcs, but I genuinely think this is some of the best looking CGI anime I've seen seen since trigun stampede. It's also a really interesting choice to render the character's textures a bit more instead of going for the cel shaded look
