I was originally not going to check this one out because I thought the art style itself looked really ugly (plus the studio, EMT Squared, made alot of garbage in the past), but I am pretty intrigued on the world and I thought the writing was pretty solid. Still think this show looks butt ugly, but that's not a deal breaker for me, plus the animation at least looked pretty good, and yeah the VA work is top notch.

i really enjoyed the first episode of this. It was one of my most anticipated shows and it sure didn't disappoint. I understand some may have problems with the pacing but i didn't really see where they are coming from, they do a lot of odd cuts and skipping past plot points in this episode so I definitely see them flashing back to some of those scenes and giving more insight in later episodes to come, and with episode 1 ending with 30 stops until Ikekeburo i predict were in for a longer anime if they really adapt a full story in 12 episode this pacing is about to be abysmal
