Actually wasn't that long of a recap if you consider 12 episodes was concisely explained in 7 minutes and 45 seconds. Also, done as a report with Deku giving the information makes its interesting.

Midnight’s death was portrayed in a simple, yet deep way. They didn’t show anything but her lifeless hand, the kids devastated and trying wake her. I don’t know, for me that hit more emotionally than the other deaths.
