Honestly the show I’m more interested in seeing you guys react to, than most recent things. My first time watching Gintama was like a huge twist on how the show starts out to how good and serious it gets.

Excited for this addition! This show does so many different genres so well. Like you're crying from laughter one moment and then a serious arc hits you in the feels. Gintama has some of my favorite arcs in anime period.

They were playing shiritori! It's a game where you say a word that starts with the last letter of the previous word said. You usually play with 2 or more people. You keep going until somebody can't think of a word on their turn or someone uses a word that ends with 'n'. You couldn't really play it with English words but in Japanese, it makes more sense. Example: Shinpachi ended the sentence with the hiragana 'e' (pronounced 'eh). Kagura's next word was Adrian (in hiragana its Edoriann), she ended the game with 'nn' cause no Japanese words start with 'nn'.

The discussion at the beginning really makes me want for the to see Heaven's Design Team. Koalas, owls, and penguins got me f*cked up. All I gotta say to this series is, PAPER if people understand where I'm coming from. Gintama is extremely funny but also has very serious arcs which makes it so much better

And just an FYI, I'm not sure if we have the same subs, but Gintoki's name shiroyasha translates to white demon/devil, not white knight! =) I know crunchyroll used to mistranslate it, lolll. I'm really looking forward to rewatching this series with yall!

in my opinion gintama stomps on bleach and naruto, i havemt seen one pieve so i cant really say anything on that but gintama is deffinetively better than naruto and bleach
