Hella obvious? Bro did you forget that we have seen students roaming the campus after hours on several different occasions? Have you ever been to a boarding school/college before? People are ALWAYS on campus. People don’t have curfew and retreat to their dorms just because classes for the day are done lmfao 😂 come on now.

Eh. Its meant to be a relatable relationship, not a hallmark romance. Legoshi by character is a awkward teenager that, while he has friends, doesn't know how to talk to the girl he likes. His awkwardness is almost tripled when you consider the Carnivore/Herbivore connection. He wants to show his affection for her, but as we saw with the anteater, when a carnivore isn't 100% aware of their strength at all times, very bad things happen (like having your arm ripped off. And that was a anteater v jaguar [i think] scenario. Legoshi is much stronger than the jaguar and Haru is much smaller than the anteater). Legoshi just wants to be 100% certain he'll be able to control himself and not end up destroying the very thing he loves. In this episode, when he walks away from her [not rly], I think its more of a situation where he wants no distractions in his relationship with her. He wants to make sure she's not constantly afraid for Rouis' safety when she's considering dating him. He want's to remove all dangers from her, and I think he want's to get rid of the danger to himself before he gets her hopes up and ends up dying on her. (A very real possibility if he doesn't get stronger before his fight with Riz)
