So they basically retconned a portion of the whole arc because it was so based around her being an actual prostitute. I understand it isn't that big a deal and the thought of her being in Bells harem while having been dicked down multiple times isn't that great to think about. It still doesn't change the fact that they screwed over such a big storyline in this past arc that kept constantly being pushed which is the whole thing with a hero saving a prostitute. Of course I don't hold a grudge about it on this series or anything but that was the main thing I and some others had with this 2nd season.

If this is finishing up, y'all should check out Girls Und Panzer. could fill the slot and has a few OVAs and Movies that continue after the main series. Also WW2 tanks + Kawaii anime girls always a win.

I think those that didn’t like season 2 was because there wasn’t any real character development for Bell like in season 1 and was more like a filler arc

Actually Bell knows shes a virgin. Right before he fought Aisha on the floating gardens to save her Aisha told him she has yet to actually sleep with any customers. She said she always passed out when they started to disrobe so none of her John's ever slept with her they went and picked a different girl. the anime just made it so she did not tell Bell.

they cut out a lot in these 2 episodes that was character development for everyone else in Hestia Familia so the season felt devoide of any real growth besides head count/harem members.

Now for this ones fun facts... its honestly way too much to go into and that was the main reason people didn't like season 2. Like you observed in episode 10 that was supposed to be where season 2 ended so there was a lot gutted from this part of the story so I'll tell you short summaries of what was skipped.

The second story they skipped was that Lili, Bells supporter actually received a marriage proposal from Finn (the little blonde haired guy who is the captain of Loki Familia) for various reasons but she turned him down and said she was going to devote herself to Bell and stand by his side no matter what.

(Did this in the wrong order) The First story they skipped was Mikoto interacting with Takemikazuchi and actually getting really mad at him because hes kind of a chad in that he is overly friendly with pretty much every girl he comes across. He's not like a scumbag but he is very playboy-ish and compliments every girl he meets so the normal jealous girlfriend kind of thing with them because she has romantic feelings for him. They made up at the end and Take gave Mikoto a dagger that came from a set he commissioned from the Goibniu Familia as a kind of "going away" present since she left the Familia while he will hold onto the other one for when she comes back because her conversion is only going to last for a year then she goes back to her old familia.

The 3rd story they skipped was Welf having a confrontation with his father and the Kingdom Ares rules. Rakia didnt come to Orario for no reason, when Apollo and Hestia had the Wargame Ares could watch it too since he could tell the other gods were using their powers and when he saw the power of Welf's Magic Swords he prepared to attack Orario and take him back because he could tell that those were Crozzo Magic Swords and every Crozzo blacksmith in his kingdom lost the ability to make those kind of swords. Welf is the only Crozzo that can make a Crozzo Magic Sword now. Ares wasnt just being an idiot he actually had an objective in attacking Orario. Welf was approached by his father and ordered to come with them other wise they would burn the city to the ground with Magic Swords they smuggled in. he confronts them at their meet up place and the Hephaestus Familia was actually watching Welf because Loki familia figured out that the enemies true objective was elsewhere based on how they were fighting.

(part 2 for Welf's story) When the Hephaestus Familia showed up Welf confronted his father and defeated him at which point his grandpa came out and declared his forces would surrender after seeing Welf's resolve to make a name for himself as a blacksmith without the use of Crozzo Magic Swords. Afterward Welf had a discussion with Hephaestus about his intentions and declared his love for her and making a deal that if he ever made a weapon that surpasses her's she'd be his. he took off her eyepatch when she said she was not worthy to consider as a woman due to her appearance and he responded with" This is nowhere near enough to quell the fires you stoked in my heart." which lead to his title becoming "Ignis The Ever Burning" by the gods because he ranked up to level 2 at the end of season 1.

4. This one is actually short If you guys remember Eina from season 1. She is the Half elf, Brown Haired girl that is Bell's Dungeon Advisor, she hired Bell to act as her bodyguard because she was chased one night after heading home and it really rattled her. Bell escorted her home for a few nights, found out the "Stalkers" was a pair of adventurers who were tricked by their gods into doing that to "Protect" Eina and had to say he was her Boyfriend to get the 2 adventurers to back off. very fun story :)

5th story Syr, the silver haired girl from the bar had been absent from work recently so the other girls hired/forced/asked Bell to find out where she went on her days off. He found that she visits an orphanage in the slums where he made friends with the children. after spending the day with him those 3 of the children he met first came to him with a request. They had been hearing a strange crying from nearby and it was worrying them, they "hired" Bell to find out what it was and he found a Barbarian (a deep level monster kind of like a way stronger Minotaur but without any Bull like appearance in a secret passage under the streets. He fought it but was no match for it then it turned to attack Syr and the kids since they followed Bell even though he told them to stay back when a character that had yet to really be introduced in the series yet, his name is Allen and he's a level 6 from Freya Familia, showed up and killed the monster. after that Bell and Syr took the kids home and Syr made Bell promise to keep what she does secret.

and the final one they didnt change too much of. its the story you guys saw just missing some interaction and Ares plan was way different. He actually planned to kidnap Hestia from the start since she was Welf's current goddess and then use her as leverage to make Orario give him Welf. it played out the same from there and then the only big parts missing were Aiz and Bell's interactions. There was a few missing and when Bell and Aiz were talking about the Black Dragon scales, Aiz actually scared Bell with how angry she got when he said the scales were like a god. Oh and the mayor had like 5 more kids, all adopted.

this is the big reason why fans of the series didnt like season 2 and I am among them in disliking season 2. I still enjoyed seeing these stories come to life and am just glad the series got a season 2, and if people liked the show then it did its job. Ah and with the comments of how we havent seen the dungeon since season 1, the gang actually did go into the dungeon several times but nearly every extra dungeon dive was cut so we didnt get to see it and for Haruhime (the fox girl) she is not just acting as their maid, shes going into the dungeon with them as a dual class Supporter/Sorceress so shes part of the dungeon team too but does most of the maid duties back home. I am so glad you guys like the show and dont worry, the gang will be heading back into the dungeon in season 3.
