Also, I'm 99% sure that Beatrice and Roswaal know Subaru has some sort of special ability he's hiding. Whether they know exactly what it is, not sure.

Tbh , I don’t think Emilia is built for the trial 😂, and I agree with what you guys said about echidna wanting Emilia’s body as a vessel. Perhaps that’s why Emilia reached out to Subaru when he was in her room subconsciously?

Taylor I know what you're getting confused on in season 1, Beatrice doesn't know. (1) Subaru wakes up --&gt; (2) Subaru meets Beako first time --&gt; (3) She knocks him the fuck out to confirm if he was an enemy --&gt; (4) He wakes up again to Rem and Ram. Subaru's respawn point is at (4), and Subaru was shocked that Beatrice remembered him, but he realized she met him at (2).

Without spoiling me, someone told me what she's seeing "is fucked." And that's about it. I bet money it's the unexplained scenes in the OVA. We saw the witches cult for a few frames in the OVA, it'll probably explain why all her people are dead/frozen as well.

Also , maybe the next trail has to do with the question Subaru will ask Beatrice , since Roswall seems acquainted with echidna.

My theory from everything we saw in the movie is that she’s the one that froze everyone in the elven village since she’s the only one who didn’t get frozen and she doesn’t remember. If the first trial is to face your past, that would be super traumatic to have to see the memories that she’s suppressed. But idk, I think her past also has something to do with why Puck is MIA currently.

No spoilers, I don't know shit. But my guess is other characters such as Roswaal, and Beatrice know that Subaru has some sort of power, they just don't know what. Think of it from their perspective. Everything he has done (saving Emelia from the assassin, surviving Rem's attack, defeating the white whale, defeating Beetlejuice) he did them all on the first try to them. If he was just a normal dude that he looks like he wouldn't of been able to accomplish all that. Roswaal and Beatrice def know Subaru has something they just don't know what. Basically everytime it takes Subaru multiple deaths to accomplish something, to everyone else he is doing it first try. Also throw in shit like him knowing layout of the mansion or who people are when he shouldn't. Theres definitely hints that he has something going on that another smart character such as Beatrice could figure out.
