A spooky icon for this year in an attempt to make myself a little less sad. I wasn't bummed about losing spring or summer to covid, but I'm unbelievably bummed about the impending loss of fall (and, like as not, winter). Pretty much all of my yearly fall traditions and events in my area I was excited for are either cancelled or simply too risky to justify this year. It's going to be a quiet Halloween.

Anyway, sorry about the downer post. I try not to complain when my situation is extremely stable compared to the majority of folks in the US right now (no risk of eviction, work from home, none of my friends or family have gotten sick, etc) but I hope no one will begrudge me whining about my first world problems this once.
