Tier overhaul incoming! (Patreon)

I've been thinking long and hard about the sort of content I want to offer on this page. For the most part, my tiers have been unchanged for a few years now, and in some cases no longer reflect the content I can realistically provide. That's not fair to you guys -- I'm sorry for dropping the ball and deeply grateful to those of you who have stuck around (and to those who have moved on)!

With that said, I've got some plans to change what rewards are offered and on what tiers. If I can get my ducks in a row I'll be all set up before y'all are billed for August, so you'll have a bit of time to decide whether or not to keep pledging and at which tier! But for now, here's the rundown of what those changes will look like.

1. lowest tier will become mostly a tip jar

Just what it says on the tin. The $1 tier will still offer access to WIP images, polls, and livestreams when they happen, as well as early access to and discounts on adoptable batches. The main change will be that 'miscellaneous sketches' will now be posted to the $5 tier instead.

2. monthly bust sketch on $20 tier

Since my streams happen so infrequently that the current reward of 'make sketch requests during livestreams' feels misleading, I'm swapping it for a monthly sketch request instead. This won't stack with the $30 sketch reward, meaning if you're subscribed at the $30 tier, you will still receive credit for a full-body sketch every month, but not a full-body and bust.

3. MERCH??? MERCH!!!

Way back when I started this page in 2016, I briefly tried to offer physical rewards and failed pretty spectacularly. It kind of scared me off from trying again even as I started to get my time management under control, but Patreon recently unveiled a system for offering merch where all the production and shipping is handled on their end, so all creators have to do is make the designs. Hey, that sounds like something even I can handle!

Their options for merch are pretty limited at the moment, so I'm planning to offer stickers at the $10 tier and prints at the $30 tier for now, and hopefully more types of merch rewards in the future! Sadly, Patreon is only offering this to patrons who make 3 consecutive pledges after I sign up for this service, so this change won't be seen until the fall. I'll try to make up for it with some spooky Halloween designs! >:)
