I’m very proud of this, and I’m releasing it on the “general tier” so more people hear it.

The Bimbo Gesserit is an erotic mind control take on the Duniverse. This replicates the opening scene. The Voice and the box of pain have been substantially re-imagined.

The acting is superb.

Dizzy Dollie turns in a command performance as both the Lady Jessica and Alia. I decided to cast her for both parts to establish continuity through the bloodline. I’m glad I did.

Dizzy’s rendition of the Litany is fantastic, and has some improvisational bits. This will be a haptic trainer on the upper tier.

Bliss is amazing as the Mother Superior – the head of the Bimbo Gesserit. It’s challenging to be silly and menacing at the same time, and she triumphs here. She also helped to organize the additional acting sessions to do this correct, so she should be credited as co-director as well.

This episode establishes the premise. The aesthetic is more important than textual fidelity.

Two details here diverge substantially from the original.

First, the Kwisatz Haderach is female – although some of the genderqueering aspects of Dune will be brought out through this series. Secondly, we presume that the initial test – the “box of pain” – is substantially different, both in its form and its result.
