I think thinking about shit and actually having the plan to go through with it but not being able to follow through is a little different. It feels like me thinking about killing someone by just fantasizing about it and writing fanfiction vs planning out all the steps and getting caught before I even had the chance to do anything. On the other side, there have been cases where people would be like, "this guy is very suspicious, you guys should look into him" and then the cops were just like nah. Then you see a 2 hour special of a recently solved cold case

there is such thing as an intentional foul in basketball though. but i guess he means they're not penalized differently vs a regular foul. thats what he means, right?
