I disagree with the words and anecdotes she's chosen to explain how she got to the objectives and outcomes. However, let's not act like JKN hasn't said awful things and masked it as comedy followed by an apology. The language she chose to use is violent, intense, and frankly unnecessary to me. The research has led to her pointing out significant parts of American history, which have led to oppression and still exist. It may seem like white prejudice but speaking about guilt and shame in mind is essential. You don't need to walk around blaming white people, but teaching kids and people of all ages what has happened and how it still affects us is crucial to growth. Some fully open white supremacists work at colleges and lecture in medicine, science, and design. It's a college where open-minded thinkers go to speak even if our morality and ethics don't match. I think there is always an equal and parallel character like this Doctor on the other side, well, the many sides. Also, this could've been a great conversation on the intricacies of race, intersectionality and not just based on the first click bate google article on the Doctor and her ludicrous expression of the content. But even then, the reaction is understandable.
