Its so sad :-( A similar situation happened to a girl in DC last year. She was jogging after work in the middle of the city. Unfortunately she passed away. She had just gotten engaged the week before too

I don't trust citizens to be able to use good judgement in using a gun to defend themselves. People can just say oh he attacked me, but what if he was never attacked? It's like you are playing the judge, the jury and the executioner with zero credentials. Cops shoot the wrong guy all the time and you think citizens can do better?

You guys really need to stop saying population is the reason. The ratios don't add up. America is still on the extreme end for mass shootings. Compare with Canadas stats and actually do your research. This is gun talk and you guys are proud of it, so do your research on populations and the ratios for mass shootings. It will change your reality. Also don't tell me if guns are not meant for war, there's reasons why it's used in war, not a knife or a van. First choice is gun in the hand. If knives were just as efficient, why choose guns over knives in war? Clearly the gun is the best choice in killing lots of people at the same time. Why doesn't the American military use vans and ram into their enemies instead of using guns?
