Finished the first pass of the underpaint today! Going back to the grayscale-first method to see how that goes (as seen in Zenberu's, Gabiru's, Lin Hu's and Were-Sal's paintings from last year).

This sketch won out in that poll over the other sketch by quite a bit. You can see both sketches here.

Brooklyn's coming along, and I'm working on him all week til he's done. Unfortunately both my dogs are ill right now so they need a lot of care, so hopefully I can still finish this week, considering that. I had planned to take my birthday off this Friday, but I might just work on that day anyway. :P
I'm excited to try something different with lighting this time!
