It's so interesting to hear the Seattle experience & attitudes from Western Australia ~ The state Berto mentioned in one of these episides where we were free to roam, but not leave the state for most of the pandemic.

Thank you for doing this series. It's therapeutic to me as well. I find myself reminiscing the early COVID days. I believe much of it is due to how it put the world on pause. I tend to worry about the future a lot and COVID made me very present. No one had any idea how society would change after this, so why plan for the future, I thought. Before the pandemic, I was working two jobs. One at a school and one at an assisted living. I was burnt out. I was never indulging on my hobbies. When COVID came, I was only working one job and had so much time to do the things I wanted. I started noticing nature and it began my passion for hiking, camping, and everything northern Michigan related.
