So clever move looking at people that comment as one person. It makes more sense now that I’m unable to have big social media accounts with a lot of followers and that it doesn’t make me a «weak» person. Thank you, Kirk!

Hi Dr Kirk! I am so grateful for this podcast and your work. One quick clarification about Gottman: I believe the “5 to 1” ratio specifically refers to the number of positive to negative interactions during conflict. The ratio for positive to negative interactions during normal conversation (non-conflict) is more like 20 to 1. Forgive the lack of citation, I don’t feel like going back through all the Gottman lecture videos. (I’m a couple and family therapist intern with a level 2 Gottman certification, so it’s fresh in my head. Also I’m a big nerd.)🤪🤓 Thanks for all you do!
