Dr Honda, something I’ve noticed: I think the majority of criticism you got from the “Heard side” is because you are so assured that you’re trying so hard to not be biased and patting yourself on the back for it instead of pin pointing your actual failures and apologizing for them if necessary. If you have done this, I’ve missed it. Bc obviously you have to have failed to acknowledge a bias at some point (like you criticising how her face looks while she is testifying about her trauma) and it should be acknowledged, esp if it causes harm. Instead you’re just like, welp I did my best!!

I disagree with you. I think if he is getting hate from Amber's side is because he is not simply saying she is right.

I don’t find this to be accurate. Honestly this entire public display in its entirety has been over invested in by the world, and Kirk is at least bringing some educational value to the dribble that it is. No one can actually know anything about the relationship of two people who are both struggling with substance abuse, past traumas, DV, and media publicity. Having any feelings about it at all, especially having feelings about who is right/wrong or who deserves this/that is going to be entirely about your own lenses, not the celebrities in question. And I think Kirk’s way of acknowledging that nothing can really be known is only bothersome to the many many people using this to fulfill something they need filling with their own lives. They’re reaction videos, and that’s all. If Kirk’s initial reactions to the media coverage don’t reflect your own, you can rest assured that we are in fact all unique beings with different ways of seeing the world. I would say personally that my own opinion, which is that neither of these people benefited from a publicly televised private matter, is something to consider for the future. The very action of this media frenzy is dubious and harmful. Educated professionals with no agenda demonstrating how to digest what is being forced onto us has been interesting.
