You're gonna think I'm a creep and a red pill for saying this... When a hetero male celeb is more famous than god, its not unusual for them to sleep with multi thousand women in their life... Literally, there are 20 out of 2500 moms who would watch their kids being s****lly abused and get mad at the kid for "lying" on daddy when they come forward... Am I crazy to think it's pretty easy to find 20 out of 2,500 women curupt enough to lie about something that happened 35 years ago if a check is involved?

My honest opinion.. as someone who's been raped.. it's heartbreaking when someone who's been raped is accused of lying. But I also don't deny that some very unstable people have lied about these things over a motive. But we can't see this all in black and white. To say that all the girls that came forward just wanted a check is too simple. I wouldn't doubt that some of them lied. But what if some of them are telling the truth? We can't just dismiss the claims and let the real victims believe they're not worth being heard. All claims should be looked into. Maybe there's no evidence 30 years later. But any call that is made to a police station, the cops HAVE to follow up on it. And if there are real victims involved then they deserve to have an attempt at justice. Hopefully they didn't all lie about this.. But it doesn't paint a good outlook for other victims out there when they see these claims being dismissed as a lie. It makes people afraid to come out openly with their own trauma stories.

@ventricular mitochondria It's a systems thing... I would argue that a girl who is too afraid to walk into a sex shop because she fears ex-communication from her church for such things is 10,000% more vulnerable to experiencing an unreported sexual assault by clergy... In my estimation... Sex Positivity = more women coming forward... and actually less fake charges against men... I appreciate your perspective Mito...
