This is so not the point, but I’m gonna go here anyway: I think you had to be a part of the culture to get the phenomenon of the Trapped in the Closet series. Humiliating the little person was absolutely problematic, but I do kind of feel some type of way about the whole thing being made fun of, when you’re not a fan of the genre. Love you Dr. Honda, but I felt a little put down by that for some reason. But of course everyone has a right to their opinion, just Sharing mine!! FYI the Isley Brothers even got into the style as well and did at least one song in the same vain (produced and written by R Kelly, along with some of his vocals). So yeah, just my tiny two cents.
