@ 47:20 "A psychologist can hang their shingle having never seen a single client" What about the 1,500 hours of clinically supervised internship hours to earn an associate license and the 3,300 to become fully licensed? I was under the impression that for a PsyD to work as a licensed psychologist, only direct client interaction hours count towards that number to qualify for licensure, vs in PhD programs one could theoretically get those hours solely as a researcher or assistant (if you have the connections to get that extensive of an assistantship while still in grad school).
