When I heard some of Mary Trump's interviews, I was struck by how it resembles my dad's upbringing. My dad is definitely narcissistic and cruel, but not in the way Trump is. I get the sense from interacting with my dad and watching Donald Trump that they are still terrified little kids. They never got the opportunity to forge an identity outside of their fathers.

I like your idea of giving every leader a compassionate therapist but what about fixing these things at the source? Maybe we need more high-quality, accessible parenting classes and support systems for parents. I believe in your attachment theory deep dive you mentioned something like that. What do you think that would need to look like to be effective?
