What a great episode! I especially loved the part about religion! I grew up atheist, but I'm going to share a part of an interesting conversation I had with a woman some years ago that still makes me think. The dumbest thing she told me she was taught was: a teacher held a peach in his hand, and told the kids this peach was like an untouched virgin. Then he crushed the peach in his hand and said: "Now would you still want to eat that peach?". Yiiiiiikes!!! Most horrible thing I've heard for a long time. Best thing she told me about Christianity was: Although her parents were emotionally distant and sometimes abusive, she developed a secure relationship style because she focused her attachment needs onto Jesus, who was always there for her. Wow! This made me think about if a good religion style might actually be really healthy for kids. What do you think?
