Today, we're having some tech problems with premium feed (on phone apps). The easiest fix might be to subscribe to the new premium feed. I'll repost here:

Patreon finally provided us with an easier way for patrons to get access to our premium episodes on your phone!

Patreon and Acast reached out to us to beta test this option and we found it to be much better.

Even if you’ve already subscribed to the premium feed on a phone app, please start using this feed instead, because we will be phasing out the current feed eventually.

For this to work, you need to be on your phone and you need to be a patron.

Step 1: Go to the Psychology In Seattle Patreon page on your Patreon phone app and click on “My Membership”.

(If you don’t see “My Membership”, you might have an older version of the Patreon app. If so, either update the app or click on “Overview” and go to Step 2 or update the app.)

Step 2: Scroll down to “Private RSS Link” and click on “Connect to RSS Feed”.

Step 3: On the Acast page, click on “Allow”.

Step 4: On the next Acast page, click on your podcast phone app (e.g., Apple Podcasts, Downcast, etc.). That should take you to your podcast phone app. Click “Subscribe”. You’re done.

(If you don’t see your podcast app on the list, click on copy icon at the bottom to copy the URL. Then open your podcast app and follow the instructions to manually add a podcast. For example, on Downcast, you click on the “Add” button, then “Add Podcast Manually”, then paste the previously copied URL into the URL box, then click “Subscribe”.)

This process subscribes you to a unique feed that is just for you. Each patron gets their own feed. If you cancel your patronage or your credit card doesn’t go through at the beginning of the month, this unique feed will stop working until you become a patron again or fix your credit card with Patreon.

Contact us if you have troubles.

You rule.

Okay, turns out I am just a dunce haha - I looked for overview in the wrong place (my profile, not the PiS mainpage - I'll just say it's early where I am :P ), but now I found it and it works on Acast! :)

I've just signed up and went through these steps but the episodes are still getting cut off as Patron only. Ive closed and opened the app again. Is there a lag in being able to access them or is something going wrong?

Total guess: you're not clicking on the premium feed (teal logo) on your phone app. You're clicking on the free feed (darker blue logo)
