I expect you have many phenomenal success stories to offset those 'failures.' I have been in therapy for approx 8 months...initially, couples therapy, but 45 years had already taken its toll. Now in individual therapy and it's been truly life-altering in the most positive ways!! Have a GREAT therapist and wish I could give psychotherapy as Christmas gifts. I think we could ALL benefit from psychotherapy. Howevrr, I suppose gift recipients might not embrace the idea with the same degree of enthusiasm as I have in giving such a gift! Many THANKS to you and your profession!! Recent listener and I am hooked.
