Who knew there was so much research on charisma? So, it's interesting, I am pretty sure I have charisma when I'm teaching and therapizing, but in any other context I am a total wallflower. But put me in front of a room and/or give me a microphone and it's a totally different story. I also have the exact opposite Big 5 traits (except for Neuroticism) that were listed as most associated with charisma. I wonder what that's about... Also, I like your description of how people with charisma have a lot of different reactions they could choose from, and in a split second they choose the more charming/prosocial one. I never thought of it like that, but it makes total sense. When I took improv classes a few years ago, I think that gave me more of a repertoire that I needed to be more spontaneous.

Hello 😊 ty for sharing this (another) interesting topic. When you mention charisma in big leadership it makes me think of techniques used in NLP? Can anyone relate? Grtz
